Habitat: Grown primarily in Eastern North America in woodlands and is a generally hardy plant.

Found in moist pastures, meadows, and thickets.


Seasons: July to September.

Active chemical ingredient: hastatoside

Uses:Uses: Burns, itching, sore throat, arthritis, to heal cuts, and asthma.
Consumed & mashed to a poultice for exterior.
