This sun-like star is the second brightest star in the constellation Sagittarius. It’s modern name, Nunki, is a Babylonian or Assyrian name uncovered by archaeologists.

Chemical Components: Like the Sun, Nunki is a "normal" unevolved star which shines by the fusion of hydrogen into helium in its deep core. Mostly hydrogen, then helium. No metallicity recorded.
